James Fluhr in his solo show "Our Lady." The New York International Fringe Festival is best known for serving up a smorgasbord of relatively fluffy fare, perfect for summertime consumption. But this year, there's been a profusion of shows obsessed with death - car accidents, murders, suicides, and everyone's favorite, the apocalypse.

It's not a metaphor. You'll have to "read more" but as a joke, some of us Taint of Equality Boys presented an award in nothing but banana hammocks.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo and I did dress to impress to represent (Un)Missed connections nominations for Best Lights and Best Postcard. Pretty sure we were the "Tarzan on Broadway" of this award ceremony.
