Facing East

An upstanding Mormon couple deals with the suicide of their gay son when they unexpectedly meet their son’s lover, and must face a reality that until then has been ignored, and reconcile their feelings and beliefs.
A developmental concert performance of the new musical Facing East will be presented Oct. 3, 2011 at the Greenhouse Theatre Centre in Chicago to benefit The Trevor Project.
Directed by Andrew Hobgood, the cast will include Kevin Stangler as Andrew, Matthew Keffer as Marcus, Anita Kellen as Ruth and Erin Kahoa as Alex.
